Meri is a Franklin, Kentucky native and proud alumnae of Franklin-Simpson High School. She earned her Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Kentucky in 2022, with minors in Health Advocacy and Criminology. During college, Meri was a research fellow with the College of Public Health and clerked at a private law firm in Lexington. In 2025, she graduated from Belmont University College of Law with pro bono honors. During law school, she was an active member of the Health Law Society , the Family Law Society and the Legal Aid Society.
 
Meri started with the firm as a law clerk in January of 2024 and joined as an Associate Attorney in September of 2025, focusing her practice on healthcare liability defense and long term care defense. She is a member of the American, Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations and the Marion Griffin Chapter of L.A.W. In her free time, Meri enjoys traveling, knitting, English horseback riding, and spending quality time with her family.
