During law school, Jordan completed Judicial Externships with Chancellor John Weaver in the Knox County Chancery Court and Judge Deborah Stevens in the  Knox County Circuit Court. He served as the Managing Editor of the Tennessee Journal of Law & Policy and was a member of the Moot Court Board.
